Aldrovandi Residence City Suites - Roma

The best hotel you can find in Roma for that money to feel yourself luxury and friendly. The location is perfect, near Villa Borghese, within the famous and respectable Parioli district of Rome. Staff is very nice, no problem with language, even russian. Room service is excellent, corresponding to four stars, not less.

Nice rooms, except the bath room was set up weird towels hanging in the shower? And cold tap was the hot tap and hot was cold . But over all you can deal with these things. The sat tv is only in italian no English channels.

Aldrovani city suites are a 20min walk through villa borghese park into piazza del popolo. The suites are lovely, modern and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area is divine especially after all the sight seeing we did in the hot 30 deg weather. There is a supermarket close by and tram stop right in front of the suites. We dould definitely stay here again. The zoo is also just across the road which my little boy loved.

1. The hotel is stylish and cozy. It is situated in a quite respectable residential area. 2. The beds are convenient, the towels and bed sheets are snow-white. The furniture is very nice (Italian style). 3. We have a small kitchenette in our suite with all necessary equipment (including coffee maker, juice extractor etc). 4. The staff is friendly and helpful. 5. The hotel has an open-air swim pool, unfortunately you could use it only in summer, but it looks very nice.

1. I think the only thing hotel management could improve is to think about children. Hotel has enough space to organize a children room with toys and games for them. 2. The location is not a city center, but it takes not more than 10-15 minutes to get there by taxi (approximately 10-15 Euro) or have a walk by foot

The welcome and helpfulness of the staff. The very good breakfast and attentiveness of the staff. the warmth and comfort of our suite. The location in a quiet neighbourhood. We asked for a quiet room and were given one. the tram stop to the Vatican is just up the street. Great stay, will return.

Hotel staff's friendliness and willingness to help. They are knowledgable around the area and will definitely get you the answers for your questions. Rooms are comfortable and especially for families with small children, babies.

Television is capable of receiving only 4 Italian stations. Cable reception poor.No CNN or BBC. TV screen very small.

Hotel is in fact a suites residence and each suite includes a kitchen area which is very useful for preparing small meals instead of eating out. The breakfast room is in the main building and the buffet is excellent There is a pool (although closed until end May) which will be ideal for the summer. The location is upmarket, quiet and residential but vey well situated close to Villa Borghese the the Modern Art Museum and a short walk through the park to the Piazza del Popolo. Not many restaurants close by but the number 3 bus stops immediately in front of the hotel with a very frequent service that takes you to the Zoological Pak (1 stop) and Via Rossini (2 stops) where there is a choice of restaurants and shops. The bus also goes directly to the Coloseum, Pyramide and Trastevere (Tip - buy the 1, 3 or 5 day tickets at any Tabaccheria which you can use to hop on/off the bus, metro and local train - even to reach Ostia Antica and the Lido. The residence staff are kind and welcoming. We would recommend this residence to anyone who is prepared to use their feet and the local public transit systems.

The location, at the northern end of Villa Burgese park, was a bit problematic as we were told that walking through the park at night is unsafe. However, tram 19 will take you from Piazza Flaminio right infront of the hotel doors.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We wanted to find a hotel close to major attractions but one that also had a pool and not break the bank. The Alrdovandi Residence City Suites filled all our wants. From the second we walked into the door the staff were extremely helpful and want to help. The room was very large and updated with a mini kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. The pool was very large and there was never more than a few people at the pool so we never had to fight for pool loungers. The breakfast was included and very good.

The shower head was in the middle of the bath tub which was difficult to use and made a mess. Our room was in the front of the building on the first floor which was a little bit noisy from traffic.

The swimming pool and the big and comfortable rooms with a lot of air and even a kitchen. This is very convenient when travelling with kids.

It would have been nice to have a pizzeria or similar a bit closer. But take away pizza is also an option, so no real problem. Just have to plan a bit
